For everyone who gets the ‘eye roll’ from others as you order chicken tenders off the menu, I say let them keep rolling them because we are the ones truly endulging! I have discovered a version of chicken tenders from a waterfront restaurant that are to die for. They have a sweet and tangy taste, yet are still the same go-to chicken tender: the captain crunch chicken tender. Even the name sounds enticing. What’s even better is you can add some of your favorite flavors to the chicken. Just put extra spices such as cajun, thai, etc. into the batter.
You don’t have to go to a restaurant to get these, you can make them at home. I found a great recipe online that is simple to follow and easy to make, even if you’re not familiar around the kichen. They are great for a summer barbeque with family and friends, or for a date to make yourself look like a true chef. Enjoy!
